How we handle information on openlinkpartners.com and openlinktowers.com.

Who we are
OpenLink Partners runs openlinkpartners.com and openlinktowers.com. This policy covers both sites. "We" and "us" mean OpenLink Partners.
Information you give us
When you send us a message or a site inquiry, we collect what you type into the form: your name, company, email, phone number, the sites or markets you ask about, and your message. We use it to reply to you and follow up on your inquiry.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit either site, we record:
- Your IP address and the approximate location it points to (city, region and country)
- Your browser and device type, screen size, language and time zone setting
- The pages you visit, when you visit them, and the page or site that sent you to us
- How long you spend on a page before you send a form
If you send a form, we connect it to these visit records from the same browser.
Cookies and local storage
We set one cookie, called ol_vid. It holds a random ID that lets us recognize the same browser when it comes back, and it lasts two years. We keep a copy of that ID, and the page that first brought you to the site, in your browser's local storage.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings, and the sites will still work.
Why we collect it
- To answer your inquiries and do business with you
- To keep the sites secure, and to detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of our forms
- To understand how the sites are used and improve them
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only:
- With service providers that run the sites for us: Netlify (hosting and forms), Supabase (database) and our email provider. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- When the law requires it, such as a subpoena or court order, or when we need it to protect our rights, our people or others.
- As part of a sale or merger of our business.
Other services our pages use
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. The tower maps load map images from OpenStreetMap and map code from Cloudflare's cdnjs. Your browser connects to these services directly, so they receive your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep visit records for up to two years. We keep form submissions as long as we need them to respond to you and for our business records. We may keep information longer when it is part of a security issue or a legal matter.
How we protect it
Only the people who run the sites and answer inquiries can access this information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we collect.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to confirm your identity first. We may keep information the law requires us to keep, or that is part of a security issue or a legal matter.
Children
These sites are for businesses. They are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
